Matt Boustred
Chief Executive Officer
Matt has been leading the operational team of ResusRight since the company was founded. Matt is responsible for execution on the strategic direction of ResusRight and operational management of the business. As a current PhD candidate in biomedical engineering at the University of Sydney Matt has deep domain knowledge into the problem area ResusRight is addressing. Previous work at the corporate advisory firm BG Capital gives him the commercial experience to supplement this. Matt graduated from the University of Sydney with First Class Honours in Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering and Commerce.

Matt Crott
Chief Technical Officer
Matt has been leading product development and managing manufacturing, quality and regulatory affairs since company inception. A current PhD Candidate in Biomedical Engineering for the University of Sydney, he has experience contracting in electronics engineering design and graduated from the University of Sydney with First Class Honours in Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering.

Brendan Giles
Chief Financial Officer
Brendan leads the finance and accounting function at ResusRight. Brendan is responsible for the execution of the financial strategy and supporting the operational management of the business. Brendan has held senior roles in industry as an Executive Director, CFO, and Co. Sec. and in consulting at PwC and KPMG. Brendan has worked throughout Australia and has over a decade of experience working with start-ups and SMEs. Brendan is a Chartered Accountant and is currently enrolled in the MBA program at UNSW AGSM.

Anthony Zeater
Principal Systems Engineer
Anthony has been designing, developing and implementing software solutions in industry since 2014. He has experience working in a ISO9001 certified company, designing systems for use in logistics, mining and sustainability tracking. He is a Mechatronic Engineering graduate from the University of Sydney.

Barbara van de Sande
Principal Design Engineer
Barbara has a Masters in Industrial Design Engineering and has been designing medical devices through her work for multiple consultancies and institutions for 7 years. She is an expert in human factors engineering and has taken products from concept development all the way through to manufacturing.

My-Linh Nguyen
Quality Assurance & Electronics Engineer
My-Linh has been working in medical device product development since 2019 and has over two years of experience working under an ISO 13485 compliant quality management system. She graduated from UNSW with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering.

Belle Bruce
Clinical Project Lead
Belle is a practicing Registered Nurse Midwife with over 15 years of clinical experience. Belle is a current Ph.D. candidate with the University of Sydney, with qualifications in nursing, midwifery, and paramedicine. Belle has worked predominately as an emergency nurse and midwife, however, has had the opportunity to gain experience in many areas of nursing including high dependency, cardiology, cardiothoracic, vascular, neurology, orthopedics, oncology, palliative, and geriatrics. Additionally, Belle has worked as a casual academic for the Susan Wakil School of Nursing and Midwifery, the University of Sydney, as a practical lab tutor for their preregistration nursing programs.

Abbey Rose Stone
Office & Operations Manager
Abbey is an Entrepreneurship and Innovation graduate who has across 2 industry-leading companies, her strengths lie within branding and strategy. Having experience within the disability sector Abbey brings her passion for creating positive change, driving equality, and accessible health care for all newborns at ResusRight.

Dean Alle
Non-Executive Chair
Dean has substantial experience at both board and executive level having founded four companies as well as being founding Chair of the Angel Investing group SunCoast Angels. He is a highly experienced entrepreneur with expertise in strategically developing new technology and the commercialisation of IP.

Don Koch
Non-Executive Director
Don brings both strong governance and oversight experience to ResusRight’s board from his experience in publicly listed companies, as well as substantial operational experience. He is the current Chairman of BNK Group (ASX:BNK). Prior to joining the BNK Board, Don worked for ING for over 20 years in various executive/CEO roles and countries which included heading the establishment of ING’s Italian subsidiary.

Abby Bloom
Non-Executive Director
Abby is an experienced non-executive director, chair, and innovation leader. Having worked in over 24 countries, often being in large, complex, and highly regulated industries Abby is at the forefront of the digital transformation challenge facing industry and Government. As an active angel investor, founder, and mentor of exciting start-ups for nearly two decades, Abby brings her unique global expertise and passion for digital transformation, governance, ESG, and social impact to ResusRight.

Prof Sally Tracy
Midwife Consultant
Sally is a Professor Emerita of Midwifery at the University of Sydney, a joint author of the National Maternity Action Plan and the co-author of the main midwifery textbook in Australia, Midwifery – Preparation for Practice. For the past fifteen years Sally has been at the forefront of midwifery politics in Australia.

Dr Rob Halliday
Clinical Consultant
Rob is a practicing Neonatal Paediatrician at Children’s Hospital Westmead with extensive clinical experience in the management of cardiac, surgical and complex medical problems.

Adeline Chu
commercialisation consultant
Adeline is a veteran mentor of entrepreneur accelerator programs such as Remarkable Tech, Cicada, BlueChilli, CSIRO and Founder Institute as well as a founding team member of award winning start-ups in fields as diverse as nanotechnology, fintech, healthtech, and edtech.
